Comments:
I was given a trunk load of fabric from a woman in a nursing home. There were boxes and boxes of cut out pieces (she must have loved to cut). In a Walmart bag, I found this partial quilt wadded up. When I shook it out there was 1/2 of a quilt finished. Some blocks were sewn by hand, some by machine. I didn't want to throw it away so I hunted through everything until I came to the pieces she used. I have never made a quilt with every piece being a set in. As you can tell, numbers squares/pieces were made to fit in the original. I just searched the internet to find the pattern. The only thing I came up with was the Dresden Plate, made in the 1920's & 30"s. Other names for it are Friendship Ring, Aster, Dahlia & Sunflower.
